Obama's Margin of Victory
Focus on precincts in swing states that your party controls -- cities where millions of people live and potentially vote. Make sure votes are counted for your candidate in numbers high enough to make a difference. Do whatever is necessary to "get out the vote." Be as tricksy as you need to be. $Trillions in payoffs, kickbacks, and power plays are at stake. Get it done.

Florida: 73,858
Ohio: 103,481
Virginia: 115,910
Colorado: 113,099
Those four states, with a collective margin of, 406,348 for Obama, add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275 electoral votes.
Obama’s margin in some other key states:
Nevada: 66,379
Iowa: 88,501
New Hampshire: 40,659
At this hour, 120,556, 279 votes for Obama and Romney have been counted nationwide.

Exit polls suggest 18-29 demographic is moving towards the center:

Over the past few years there has been an increase in the social justice movement, with "check your "privilege" and "mansplaining" being challenged. It's reaching a point of peak saturation that is actually annoying otherwise steadfast liberals:

Some thoughts:
1. VA hospitals I've seen/heard reports about suck. The prosthetic technology is a decade or more behind the curve, expensive and less robust. We can use 3d printing to make much better models than what is currently used, and improve the quality of care. Of course, the military votes would also have to be counted for this to be a good election strategy.
An slightly dated gallup poll suggests that women are now seen as being more intelligent, compassionate, honest, ect:

Women also control the vast majority of spending in households:

And the general consensus there was that either America wasn't ready for a female top elective or men would be holding them back. Guys like heartiste have complained about suffrage and such, but their audience is incredibly tiny compared to the majority of America.
If you want to play Democracy 2016 you have to get the female vote, particularly the white female vote. People have built start-up's to challenge multi-billion dollar companies and win repeatedly. But they didn't do it by ignoring demographics completely. The Republican party needs to do more work on what value it can provide to people, if women are risk averse then conservatives should work with that.
Women lead early adoption in mobile technology, the Republican's mobile marketing was lacking. The mobile market is also much larger than the internet and can integrate local and national politics in a different way than the internet or TV can.
Otherwise we'll get more of this:

As far as legitimacy goes, technology companies have much more than other lines of business:
