International Immigration vs. Emigration: Voting with their Feet
Often an image can explain more than words. In the image above, the size of the country is adjusted for the level of immigration, or inflow of migrants.The image below adjusts the country size for the level of emigration, or migrant outflow. This is a situation where people vote with their feet.

You might go to the worldmapper website to look for those parameters.
If you look at the "emigration" map closely, you will notice that North America has become Mexico, and the USA and Canada have disappeared! Central America and the Caribbean are huge. Very interesting visual display indeed.
