Rapid Growth in Media Choice

People have never had so many choices for information.

In China and Iran, most sources of information we in the west take for granted, are denied the people. That is not surprising, given the totalitarian natures of those societies.

But why are some lawmakers trying to make the information landscape of North America more like China, or Iran?
